He is one of the most important Greek poets with rich works
and one of only Greek Nobel laureate literature together with Odysseas
Elytis.
In 1963, George Seferis, awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature by the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.

attribute a wonderful tribute in modern Greece, a linguistic area that
waited too long for a prize-giving at this level.
