Pink Floyd

Pink Floyd were an English rock band formed in London.Distinguished by their use of philosophical lyrics, sonic experimentation, extended compositions and elaborate live shows, they are one of the most commercially successful and musically influential groups in the history of popular music.
Pink Floyd were founded in 1965 by students Syd Barrett, Nick Mason, Roger Waters, and Richard Wright.Under Barrett's leadership released two charting singles and a successful debut album, The Piper at the Gates of Dawn (1967). David Gilmour joined as a fifth member in December 1967; Barrett left the band in April 1968 due to deteriorating mental health. Waters became the band's primary lyricist and, by the mid-1970s, their dominant songwriter, devising the concepts behind their critically and commercially successful albums The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), The Wall (1979) and The Final Cut (1983). The Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall became two of the best-selling albums of all time.Pink Floyd were inducted into the US Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996, and the UK Music Hall of Fame in 2005. By 2013, the band had sold more than 250 million records worldwide, including 75 million certified units in the United States.

Genres

Pink Floyd are considered one of the UK's first psychedelic music groups.
Some categorise their work from that era as a space rock. They had developed an unmistakably psychedelic sound, performing long, loud suitelike compositions that touched on hard rock, blues, country, folk, and electronic music.

He lived and worked most of his life in Spain and from there comes the nickname El Greco (The Greek), which is also known.
For many years the name remained in obscurity and paintings in churches and palaces of Italy and Spain were considered to be of a madman.
Since the beginning of the 20th century his work began to be recognized and is today considered one of the leading artists of all time, who influenced painters of modern art, such as Pablo Picasso.

Mug Pythagoras

Mug Pythagoras, the fair mug is a discovery of Pythagoras to drink in moderation its wine but also to serve the students of overstating the sense of measure and the limits. The idea of Pythagoras was simple, had to limit the greed to drink! How could it? Clay glass empties in a magical way when he who keeps proven..greedy and fill it more than you should. The mug there is engraved a line,. If the liquid containing no crosses line this, the drinker enjoys wine. But if the line exceeds the limit, then the cup is emptied and the wine is poured from the bas. Empties throughout the mug not only the excess.  But how is it that? In the center of the cup is a column positioned exactly over a pipe that leads to the bottom of. While the cup fills the wine and the level rises within the central column along the Pascal’s law to communicating the vessels. As the level of the wine does not exceed the line is engraved inside the cup “does not run anything”. But once the liquid exceeds the limit line then begins to flow through the inner tube from the base of the cup. Liquid molecules drag each other so magically mug emptied completely! Self beyond a simple application of hydraulics is a way Mr taught. When the limit exceeds not only lost those that have exceeded the limit but all the precedents that had been gained. Excellent we have to enjoy it in moderation, as the wine already have in our hearts. Drawing the maximum benefit without seeking more!

Exclusive interview with Patrick Kostis‏

1) When did you first understand that being an actor was made for you and you decided to follow this career?
I always liked acting as far as I can remember. And art, painting, song, and music. But the theatre and film industry always fascinated me. At school I was in a drama club. We put up amazing performances. At the end of high school I had made up my mind.

2) In which T.V and Theatrical productions have you taken part in?
Many and different kinds! I can't choose one from the others. They all offered experience and valuable cooperation with talented colleagues. Of course there were also difficulties, but aren't there everywhere. With patience will power and moderation you can accomplish a lot.

3) Which people do you admire?
From my line of work I admire one person, that from when I was young I used to hear his voice in animated films and then I was lucky enough to work with him in a performance from which I started. The performance was produced by Minoa Volanaki, the play was called Role Playing Game by Luigi Pirandello, and the actor I am talking about is Sofoklis Peppas. He is known as Papa smurf of the children's series smurfs.
From the political section I admire absolutely though in general I admire people in my life, not famous people, that di their best for their fellow man.

4) What kind of advice would you give to young people who want to follow this profession?
My advice is to always have a back up plan. In other words to have studied something else also. And this because in the acting business it is very difficult to have a steady job. This might thrill you, make us progressive and take us to different parts of the world as actors but... when there isn't any work it's difficult. You have to earn a living and pay the bills.

5) Is talent enough or do you need more like knowledge, work, will power in order to make it in this profession?
Talent is only the beginning you need more in order to keep going. You need hard work, knowledge and of course you must insist. As in all professions if you work hard have experience and dedication you can make it to the top and do a lot of wonderful things.
