1) When did you first understand that being an actor was made for you and you decided to follow this career?
I always liked acting as far as I can remember. And art,
painting, song, and music. But the theatre and film industry always
fascinated me. At school I was in a drama club. We put up amazing
performances. At the end of high school I had made up my mind.
2) In which T.V and Theatrical productions have you taken part in?
Many and different kinds! I can't choose one from the
others. They all offered experience and valuable cooperation with
talented colleagues. Of course there were also difficulties, but aren't
there everywhere. With patience will power and moderation you can
accomplish a lot.
3) Which people do you admire?
From my line of work I admire one person, that from when I
was young I used to hear his voice in animated films and then I was
lucky enough to work with him in a performance from which I started. The
performance was produced by Minoa Volanaki, the play was called Role
Playing Game by Luigi Pirandello, and the actor I am talking about is
Sofoklis Peppas. He is known as Papa smurf of the children's series
smurfs.
From the political section I admire absolutely though in
general I admire people in my life, not famous people, that di their
best for their fellow man.
4) What kind of advice would you give to young people who want to follow this profession?
My advice is to always have a back up plan. In other words
to have studied something else also. And this because in the acting
business it is very difficult to have a steady job. This might thrill
you, make us progressive and take us to different parts of the world as
actors but... when there isn't any work it's difficult. You have to earn
a living and pay the bills.
5) Is talent enough or do you need more like knowledge, work, will power in order to make it in this profession?
Talent is only the beginning you need more in order to keep
going. You need hard work, knowledge and of course you must insist. As
in all professions if you work hard have experience and dedication you
can make it to the top and do a lot of wonderful things.
