Hasapikos




The Hasapikos guy is dancing and the songs of the Greeks from Macedonia and Constantinople.
Its roots are in the Byzantine period, when it was an imitation dance battle with swords.
Forms of dance that was known from previous years in many parts of the Greek or Greek-speaking Christian area, but more in Istanbul and the surrounding region.
Masculine dance, danced in a straight line mainly by men.
