L' Homme qu'on aimait trop




The true story behind the disappearance of Agnes Le Roux staggering 30 years in France. When her marriage falling apart, the Agnes Le Roux returns to southern France to live with her mother Renee, the owner of the casino "Palais De La Mediterranee" in Nice. There, he falls in love with ten years older Maurice Agnello, lawyer and consultant of her mother. While Maurice is married and continues to have relationships with other women, Agnes is madly in love with him, and when it falls into the mother's perception, she will try to remove him from the immediate environment. This will infuriate Maurice and lead to Agnes to sell her own share of the casino to change a page in her life. In November 1977, after a failed suicide attempt, Agnes disappears. Her body was never found. Thirty years later, after repeated trials, Maurice Agnello remains the main suspect in the murder case. Convinced of his guilt, Renée will fight to the end to see him behind bars.
