The tango is music in 2/4 or 4/4 rhythm and corresponding dance. Tango was born in the region of Río de la Plata, that in Argentina and Uruguay and spread almost all over the world. The Spanish word tango probably comes from the Niger Congo language family of West Africa and is related to the word tamgu dance / dance of language Ibibio this family
