The Hunger Games movie is based on the novel of Suzanne Kollins.
12 boys and 12 girls aged 12-18 years must participate in
the Hunger Games, an annual televised event in which the participants
are forced to fight to the death, until there is one remaining winner.
As sources of inspiration of the novel Kollins and the
script of the film were used the myth of Theseus, Roman gladiatorial
games and television reality show.
The song Safe & Sound won the Grammy for Best Song
